Muncho Lake, Alaska Highway to Boya Lake, Cassiar Hwy

7 September 2017

Some clouds moved in overnight so we decided to head out. Weren't sure to where initially, but ended up at Boya Lake on the Cassiar Highway. We hadn't been there since 2010 and it is one of our favourite campgrounds.

The turnoff to the Cassiar Highway is past Watson Lake and the British Columbia border is just a few kilometres south of the Alaska Highway.

There's a hiking trail to a beaver dam at the south end of the lake. It's a good trail to walk dogs.

The campground was almost full. All the waterfront sites were occupied. It was a pleasant evening.
